ganked from various people!:

Step One
Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered…whatever you’re comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 12 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun to medium to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it’s your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two
Surf around your friends list (or friends of friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here’s the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make someone’s wish come true. Once a wish has been granted, it will be crossed off the list.

You needn’t spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn’t to put people out, it’s to provide everyone a chance to be someone else’s holiday elf–to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not–it’s your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just…wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you’ll have the joy of knowing you made someone’s holiday special.

every year i do this. this, to me, is fun. this x’mas list is by no means a request or a subtle begging for things, but really goals for me to reach within the period from this christmas to next christmas. sometimes, i made it, sometimes i don’t. this year though, and this coming year too, looks like a lot will get done.

1) Something from my amazon wishlist (of course, preferably the shoes! :p)

2) a digital piano. frankly, i have no preference, since i don’t know very well. but hey, yamaha and rolands are the only ones available where i am anyways. korg, which is on my amazon wishlist, might actually sound good as a digital piano. if i get one, i will be playing songs for everyone. starting with canon in D for shadow and manta.

3) shower and facial stuff from Lush. favourites are: Dreamwash, ayesha and cosmetic warrior.

4) a subscription to foreign affairs and/or new york times

5) the new yorker cat’s engagement diary

6) speedo swimmers, so i can learn swimming in. preferably one with actual breasts cups, i REALLY don’t wana reveal my nipples, kkthxbye.

7) a western digital 1tb hard drive. these things are getting damn cheap! (but my hard drive is now a brittle 25 gigs left! rar! too much anime!)

a longboard (skateboard type), so i can run into the traffic, and laugh at everyone!

9) baby the stars shine bright!!!! (^_^v) or their lucky packs.

10) a bose sound dock system.

11) the Ikea swivel chair in pink!!!!!!!

12) thick base cooking wares. i have never realised that you need thick bases when you are using electric stove tops. makes sense, they are easy to heat up.

13) borders book vouchers, or myers, or david jones.

14) a damn new job!

ok, that’s it. i know huh, mostly in the hundreds hahaha! just let me love you darling, love you!!!!!
