assignments and good food
Top: Eggs, Honey & onions chicken
Bottom: Tuna Onigiri, Apples & grapes
so, procrastination led to this. i decided that my usually brown looking lunch box should be slightly more colourful, and eventually my searches on google for bento ideas (on how to make it look pretty really) ended me up on sites that make lunchboxes look like empty canvases for people to play with.
of course i won’t go to such elaborate lengths… yet. but if i get more stressed out… you never know
but the great thing is, with concerns for colours and presentation and such, even though i HATE vegetables, i do like fruits. but i don’t like to eat them coz it takes slightly more effort to spit out the seems and such (yer i am that lazy). but i went down and got them yesterday anyways, and there they are on top.
the onigiri is huge arse coz i was an idiot. i had so much rice left, i didn’t want to waste them, and besides, i kept thinking my bento box was quite deep, yada yada, and then poof, it became so huge. this was also the last onigiri i made last night, which i didn’t intend to create. i already had 2 which was enough for today. but they started looking like boobs on the plate. i started having wild thoughts about using the tuna to create the nipples and such. but decided to refrain from being overtly obscene. this third one was originally rounded as well, so i wanted to make a mickey mouse face.
ah…. playing with food is BAD. anyways, it’s packed for lunch at, waiting for me to grab it before i attend to school. got some peach juice for lunch as well. MMMM……
assignments wise, i think some people got a bit confused. no i am not studying law, neither do i intend to (for various reasons) at this stage. i happen to like law, but it’s more like a hobby than an actual want for that subject. also, because this IS assignment periods, little bits of the assignments i am doing can easily excite me and make me think of other relevant topics. as such, i develop strange questions that i might never eventually use anyways, in the actual assignment.
this is because, for example, the aforementioned assignment was meant to be 500 words. at this stage, it has already hit the 2000 word mark. if i expound on all these questions further, can you imagine the thesis length i be writing?
the thing is, although i do tend to digress alot just from 1 topic, i believe that all students should have a fair chance at being inquisitive, to question, to ponder, AND THEN GO AND WORK ON THOSE QUESTIONS. true, we are already busy and loaded with work as it is, but better to know than to be stupid right? after all, students are suppose to “think out of the box” nowadays, and the more you know, the more things to conquer.
i love studying. <3
(because it also means more food experiments muahaha)
p.s this will be the last time i am making those dreadful onigiri…. they are slightly more time consuming than i thought. and at night, i prefer to sleep more. unless someone get me those rice molds that is. and i am sorry about how blurred out it is. photoshop can be godawful sometimes, and i was tired when i adjusted it. so now it looks all blurred out rather than prettier
