i should perhaps start putting categories up, shouldn’t i?

no work today, still awaiting some response before i start selling my ibook proper on ebay tomorrow evening. i am feeling a little sad about it, but there’s nothing i can do to prevent it heh. funny eh, attachment to non-living things.

that would probably explain the presence of the tonnes of junk in my room that i refused to throw out every single chance i had.

the saddest part of course, was scrolling through various websites, even widget application downloads, then suddenly realising, hey wait a minute, what am i doing here… i won’t be having this in another 2 days, unless a miracle happens. T_T i am sorry, dearest charbie, i don’t wanna let you go too, but i do really need the cash, and even if i do let you go, i would still be short on cash.

so it was with such a heavy heart, i join l2 today. i have slowly eased myself back into the grind from which i have escaped from due to too much things to handle irl. i thought i could play on l2x for abit, but it soon got boring. you get to level fast yes. but beyond pvp and more lvlling (of alts and such) there really is nothing much else to do.

so while in there, one dude i know and i were chatting. this guy’s old clan was part of my old alliance. however, they had some disagreements, and the clan left the alliance to form another alliance. more arguments ensued tho, and the clan more or less died, and the guy i knew, with a few others joined the alliance’s available clans.

now, despite the confusing relationship, we were essentially friends, mostly these 2 guys and me, and we often mess around alot. for the more… casual players, politics in the game is something we just paid lip service to. like me, if we have to kill, we kill, but we won’t put our clans in jeopardy and the relationship stays fine. nothing to do with being friends after all, this is a game at the end of the day. i shall name these 2 guys Mike and Marc (just for fun ).

now i have been in this game to know quite a number of people. it’s not a popularity contest, nor trying to show off, it’s just a matter of fact, especially when u have played for abit in a game such as this. a couple whom i knew from long ago joined that clan. i don’t know them well though, and infact rarely saw them ingame. so, i doubt they remembered me much from way back then. as is proven from what i am about to say next.

a few days ago, my old clan was gearing up to pvp them some where. i decided to watch, and perhaps help out. and all i did was buff them. they were my clan after all, nothing wrong. marc was there, and i decided to play with him. followed him around town just for fun, nothing wrong, just chatting with him, but in private msgs.

on the side, felyne, one of the old couple (they are like 40+) was busy trash talking my old clan. when suddenly she turned on me. “i wonder what would happen to you if he suddenly ports.”

in the game, if i am auto-followed on a person, and the person ports somewhere far, i “zoomed” into walls, or mobs. so my reply was a normal “i will zoomed! :D”

bitch was like “oh, ok. i just don’t want you to do a bad job of checking out our locations.” perhaps reasonable in circumstances where i was tagged. even in those circumstances, it would have been normal. but i got miffed instantly because marc and i knew each other, and anyone could tell i was playing, as it was me, not like some other jerk.

of course, she didn’t know me. so i stood my ground and told her off. “felyne. my politics is very simple. if i want to know where u are, i will ask you. i don’t jeopardise pvp with my familiarity with people.” silently, i was also wishing her to fuck off into her corner.

she stumbled for a while, talking still in a condescending manner, as if she owned the server, telling me “oh, good. not everyone’s politics is simple…”

in those few sentences though, she started insinuating that i was probably using walker. a bot program that also shows you who’s where in a certain vicinity bigger than what the game offers u. i am not sure how it works, altho i was told that it could do several other amazing stuff.

Seeing that she was doing her bad attempt at trash talking though, i ignored her for the rest of the evening.

3 days ago, she and husband detagged from that alliance they were in, claiming that they were the rudest people they have ever met, and a bunch of other nonsense. frankly, with her condescending manner, i am not surprised at the number of clans they both have clan hopped. so mike and i were chatting about them as per norm. then suddenly, “you know, felyne said that you were using walker to find out our locations through auto-following marc.”

“WHAT!?!?”

“yer. she said that in ally chat.”

at that point i blew. while it would have been fine if she had presumed i was on bot mode due to me following smoke around, she had never even seen me level ever since like, last august or some shit. botting, in my honest opinion, is retarded. it’s like paying 15 bux a month to have a computer play the game for you. i still don’t know what joy people get out of it, but that’s not my problem. as long as i don’t do it, i am perfectly happy.

same goes for ebaying.

and because i work hard for my levels, i would not have people slander me behind my back like that. i know it’s just a game, there’s a point when that line is crossed though, and i had enough of felyne as it is. i have only heard her once a long time ago on sanctuary. she knows NOTHING about me to point false accusations my way. so i messaged her.

“you know NOTHING about me, you have never tried to either. don’t assume you know ANYTHING about me or the things that i do before slandering shit behind my back. don’t you tell people that i am BOTTING before you even bother finding out more.”

she was like, “WHO are YOU?! i don’t even KNOW you, nor have SEEN you!”

i was like, “sure you haven’t. i am anivyl that’s WHO i am. you saw me just last week or so” (and perhaps old age has killed ur memory cells.)

in the ensuing conversation, she went on to deny it, while i heaped it at her to butt off.

felyne, “you are too insignificant for me to know you, hun, or even care about you.”

me, “sure i am, perhaps that’s why you have to resort to slandering behind my back don’t you?”

her husband started pm-ing me on the side a totally different tale. (no i didn’t bother to keep screen shots. they really aren’t worth my time to keep.)

anjoux, “she’s in tears. are you sure it’s not felyn from pda (another clan)? are you really sure? why would we do that to you? you especially of all people. we do know you…”

tell me. which of her part of the conversation sounds like a weeping woman, and which of it sound like she even wanted to clear up the scenario. neither.

apparently they later on jumped on the vent of the alliance they were in, to whine about me telling her off. to which they claimed to me, that their old alliance said to them that the alliance was spreading tales about them just coz they quit the clan.

she insisted on knowing who told me, and wanted them for her screenshots. i was like “wow damn up yourself aren’t you?”

she started whining again.

at any rate, between mike whom i know, and her, who would i choose to believe? mike. her very actions on that day that i played with marc showed me she already thought i was using l2walker. her denial can only be caused by 2 things.

1) she is too old to keep any fucking memory of anyone more than herself and her husband.

2) she just doesn’t dare to get anymore deaths coming her way.

after i have said my piece, i was done pretty much. but she kept on whining with her husband, saying that it was all just a lie cooked up by the alliance coz they left. to shut them up, i just ignore her and just to the husband. he said she has a reputation to keep.
