Sundries

new purchases today! (or arrived today anyways)

- I had a mostly shitty week. It was amazing that I didn’t rage alot as I usually do. I think age is calming me down somewhat. that, and a stupid wrist. God only knows how much I wanted to wreck my dick pillow every night when I got home.

- However, I guess looking forward to my week and abit off also brought alot of calm to me anyways HAHAHA! due to a lot of complications and confusion, I am not actually spending this off week away after all. Especially since there’s a specialist to see, an in-service to attend and a physio over 3 different days.

- I have taken myself off pain meds for the last 3-4 days now. I really don’t like the possibility of an addiction. Sure doesn’t feel like a withdrawal, although I did fear the pain would come back 10 fold like it did once. It didn’t. that is a big sign of recovery. I just need 5 conseceutive pain-free days and I am home free.

- I bought Yum-Yum Bento Box: Fresh Recipes for Adorable Lunches! It’s written by the author of one of my favourite bento site :) needless to say, I am quite excited about it. most importantly, unlike the terrible fail that was 501 bentos (mostly dark pictures, quite a rushed way of “recipe writing”), her partner and her were quite detailed where it needs to be, and not when it doesn’t :) . There are quite alot of helpful hints too, such as how to make certain things quick :) for such a thin book, I wasn’t expecting that much

- I indulged a little last week. I was so upset over a few things I… well, did some shopping therapy. I didn’t quite over spent, I promised. I did, however, found a nice home-made soap shop called Inner Earth Soaps! Got Berry Nice, Pomengrate, Minted Honey Herbal – French Milled Soap and non-scented body butter! Erin, the lady who owns the site, also kindly sent 2 samples: coconut Lime and spice route. I really like the coconut lime smell too! :)

you know, I always loved home made soaps… I don’t know why I never got around to learning how to make them. I guess it’s a little like cooking. sometimes, after whipping up a storm, I just couldn’t bring myself to eat them >.> (Lizzie!!! when you do make yours an etsy shop, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!)

- I bought the french cook book over the silver spoon. I think I mentioned it somewhere some time ago, but anyways. So I’ve gots it. It’s very inspiring. Since I have quite alot of spare time now, I am going to cook/modify some from it. particularly all those avocado related recipes ^_^v did I mentioned I am obsessed with avocados? hahahaha

- I got worried about my Enrolled Nursing course by about thursday. I heard nothing and when I logged on CIT’s stupid net enrolment shit, it said to me “this application was completed on the 19th of May.” WHAT THE!!!!! I knew the tech team was a little special, I just wasn’t quite expecting this. So I called up the coordinator who checked then told me it said the 16th of May to her (phew!) and that I am pretty much at the top of the pile (DOUBLE PHEW!!!) but the tech team hasn’t sent her all applications yet, and neither are the copies of it in hard copy form. so until that happens, she can’t send out letters for interviews yet.

which could mean this coming week or the next week. I hate this delay. it’s eating at me!!!

But at least I know where I stand with regards to nursing.
