oopsy daisy, sorry, I just get lazier and lazier. and besides, other than work and my grand 1 week escapade, I really have nothing else to report. most people would have “seen” my 1 week escapade on facebook anyways. Ya, Twitter + Facebook = lazy panda.

Exciting news!!!: My dearest friend Rory/Lily/SD, is finally here in Aussie, finally together with her beloved! I haven’t managed to draw much from her, they were both trying to surprise me, but it’s been sssooo long in waiting… i am glad. Now let’s hope it can be permanent :)

sad news: nah, work didn’t approve of finances for Uni. It was kind of expected, except I wished I was notified in advance rather than on O’ Week. Oh wells, I am sure it can only get better. In the mean time, the internet is my next best friend w00t! It’s mad crazy what you can find on the internet/bookstores when you set your mind to it.

ahem.

Reading: Oh ok so, I am still reading a truckload except now I am so upset with the…. discontinuation of Blomkvist and Lisbeth that I just can’t read much anymore (reader’s block? mew…) for now. So thusly, I have started reading history of the world instead! Dead people can’t disappear >.> Oh, and I am reading the bible too. I don’t particularly like some chapters, particularly when it went on and on describing the mathematical aspects of the religion: how many golds to dedicate to God, how many firstborns, how they are considered perfect…. Oh I understand why it was done that way, but math crashes my intellectual functions so yeahh…..

I always wondered about 1 thing though. and if anyone can answer this without being stupid, sarcastic or upset or anything along the IDIOT BAKA DESU!!! line, that would be good.

In a paragraph, when Jesus entered a town on the donkey (sorry too lazy to go find verse number now), Jesus cursed a fig tree where alot of versions has mentioned that it was too early for it to bear fruit. So, if it was too early for it to bear fruit, and its fruits could have benefitted someone else, why did he curse it to never bear fruits again? And when his disciple mentioned later on on how it has shrivelled up, why did he seem to go on a totally different tangent?

because, from another angle, it could be read by others as Jesus was being bratty and since the fruit isn’t borne while he was infront of it, then it should not bear any at all. Just really confused about it.

I suspect that Dumpie would know the answer to this one, wahahaha!

~ I went to Soundwave festival 2 sundays ago. It was an incredible experience. I am tempted to put up some photos except they are mostly blurry visions of the big screen anyways. it was incredible for many reasons:

1) it was like, my first music festival!?!?
2) pretty much can be considered my third concert ever….
3) I have never seen that many young bogans congregate….
4) the music was crazy wonderful, although there was one band that made me want to throw something heavy and hard at them. that wasn’t music, seriously, it was sounds meshing and crying.
5) I found an old favourite :)

but besides that, I also…:

Got morbidly sunburnt
now have stupid tan lines on my legs….
enjoyed myself thoroughly living away from Canberra for a week. (i like canberra, but it’s uplifting to get away).
Enjoyed my company
Went ecstatic window shopping – because I fucked up and lost my wallet prior to going up =/

Losing my wallet

Losing my wallet was perhaps the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I cannot even begin to tell you how horrendous the feeling is like. It’s not about the cards, but the memories it contains… it contained the picture I had taken with Zita and Elizabeth (not that she matters anymore haha) just before our… j3 cruise? it contained my beloved Singapore IC (beloved because I actually was innocent once and it proved it HAHA!), it contained a very faded first pair of movie tickets with my crazy lala… it contained many things I have failed to throw away for dumb shit sentimental reasons. it contained an imitation Egyptian scarab from the Museum…

I have had a few scares of losing my wallet before, so I often check places before I leave them. unfortunately, that day that I lost it, was also the day I was too sick and tired to care about my surroundings. I guess I paid a hefty price for that.

I have been so unwilling to report it lost to any bank except for 1 now, because I was hoping perhaps a kind soul pick it up, saw my layby receipt and is going to mail it back to me. I have hounded the cab company, to no avail. I don’t have much hope now, it being a week and all, but I will sorely miss the picture of Norjit and I that’s for sure.

As for the IC… Well, Charles, I forgot to respond to you about that. I thought I lost my IC once because I hid it in a safe spot, so safe I didn’t know where it was HAHAHA. So I called up the Embassy. so it turns out, the only way you can get a new ic is to go home and request a new one in person. According to the IC website, the ruling hasn’t change.

Siao one, who the hell will buy a plane ticket just to get a new IC? Sianz…. :( I regretted not scanning it in and keeping that photo somewhere permanently. haha….

Sewing

It’s not progressing at this point hahaa. I managed to patchwork everything before I left for my holidays. it’s now just needing the wadding to be completed, but I am just too lazy to go shopping for it. besides, it feels as if I screwed something up, so I don’t really want to spend the money on the wadding just yet….

I did buy an Aranzi Aronzo book though, which was so cute and irresistable!

here’s a preview of what people have done in the Aranzi Aronzo group on Flickr. once I am done with this patchwork quilt I will start on something aranzi aronzo-ish. yes, I still want to make my own quilt but until I can sew much better……

Work wise, it’s the same. Most days good, some days I feel like I have been so drained I can’t squeeze anything out anymore.

Ok that’s all for now folks <3
